from a world class teacher and performer
Natacha
Poberaj has
taught and performed Argentine Tango and Folklore Argentino throughout
the world including Argentina, The United States, Europe, Asia, Central
and South America.
She began her professional career 15 years ago with the Ballet
Folklorico National de Argentina directed by Santiago Ayala "El
Chucaro" and Norma Viola. Since then she has performed with the Julian
Plaza Orchestra, Osvaldo Requena Orchestra, the Nissan Tango Buenos
Aires directed by Walter Rios, and worked as an assistant director and
performer with the Beba Pugliese Orchestra.
Other notable credits include Tango x 2, directed by Miguel Angel
Zotto, the European and Argentinean tours of "Perfumes de Tango" and
"Una Noche de Tango", and as Prima Ballerina and assistant director of
"Tango Nuevo". She is also a constant performer in the numerous
Milongas in Buenos Aires.
Natacha now spends her time in her hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina
enjoying the local milongas, and teaching workshops and private
classes.
